An earthquake measuring 4.0 on Richter scale struck close to Victoria early this morning at roughly 4:05 am at present. The earthquake’s epicentre was situated about 18 kilometres northeast of Victoria, close to Saanichton, at a depth of 52 kilometres.
Residents in components of Higher Victoria and surrounding areas, together with Vancouver, reported feeling mild tremors. Regardless of some shaking, there have been no stories of injury or accidents, and authorities don’t count on any.
