Thousands turn out for 2024 Khatsahlano Street Party
1000’s of individuals took to the road on Vancouver’s West Aspect Saturday for the annual Khatsahlano Avenue Get together.
Billed as “Vancouver’s largest free music and humanities pageant,” the occasion took over West 4th Avenue from Burrard Avenue to Macdonald Avenue, with greater than 50 native musicians acting at a number of phases alongside the 10-block stretch.
This yr’s theme was “Sparkle,” with installations that includes mirrors, disco balls and different shiny decor inspired.
“Let the July sunshine make every thing glow,” organizers mentioned on their web site.
CTV Information Vancouver’s Pete Cline produced the video above showcasing a number of the sights and sounds of this yr’s occasion.
