Remembrance Day hours of operation at civic properties 2024

Metropolis Corridor will likely be closed on Monday, November 11, in observance of Remembrance Day, a yearly memorial to honour those that have served our nation and bear in mind those that sacrificed their lives for our freedom.
The Kelowna Memorial Cemetery administration workplace can be closed Monday, however the cemetery gates will stay open from 7 a.m. to five p.m. The Glenmore Landfill will likely be open common hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Parkinson Recreation Centre will likely be open adjusted vacation hours from 10 a.m. to three p.m.
Department 26 of the Royal Canadian Legion will maintain its annual Remembrance Day parade and ceremony in downtown Kelowna. Starting at 10:45 a.m., the parade will proceed alongside the lakefront promenade from Stuart Park to the cenotaph in Metropolis Park for the 11 a.m. ceremony.
The Military, Navy and Air Pressure Veterans will maintain a ceremony on the cenotaph at Lions Park in Rutland. Company are requested to reach by 10:30 a.m. forward of the procession.
