Montreal Alouettes’ Tyson Philpot exits game vs. Hamilton Tiger-Cats in first quarter
Montreal Alouettes large receiver Tyson Philpot exited Saturday’s recreation towards the Hamilton Tiger-Cats within the first quarter with a lower-body damage.
The 24-year-old didn’t return to motion because the Alouettes improved to 8-1 on the season with a 33-23 victory.
After the win, Philpot was seen sporting a strolling boot on his left foot, in response to Herb Zurkowsky of the Montreal Gazette.
Zurkowsky provides that an MRI will decide the extent of the damage.
Philpot had simply accomplished a four-yard catch 10 minutes into the opening quarter when he was hit by Tiger-Cats defensive again Richard Leonard and was favouring his ankle.
The 6-foot-1 large receiver has 779 receiving yards with 5 touchdowns on 58 receptions this season.
