TUCSON, Ariz. — Linda Ronstadt launched an announcement on Instagram Wednesday harshly criticizing Former President Donald Trump’s upcoming rally in her hometown, Tucson.
Trump will likely be visiting Arizona on Thursday to ship remarks on the Linda Ronstadt Music Corridor, often known as the Tucson Music Corridor.

Ronstadt took private problem with the selection of venue, writing “for the reason that constructing has my title on it, I must say one thing.”

“It saddens me to see the previous President convey his hate present to Tucson, a city with deep Mexican-American roots and a joyful, tolerant spirit,” Ronstadt continued. “I don’t simply deplore his poisonous politics, his hatred of girls, immigrants and other people of coloration, his criminality, dishonesty and ignorance — though there’s that.”
Though Ronstadt now lives in San Francisco, she was born in and grew up in Tucson. As regards to southern Arizona, Ronstadt voiced her displeasure with the Trump administration’s border insurance policies.
“For me it comes right down to this: In Nogales and throughout the southern border, the Trump Administration systematically ripped aside migrant households looking for asylum. Household separation made orphans of 1000’s of little youngsters and infants, and brutalized their determined moms and dads.
