Conjoined twins Lori and George Schappell, world’s oldest, die at 62
The world’s oldest conjoined twins have died at age 62. Guinness World Information confirmed the deaths in an announcement Friday.
Lori Schappell and George Schappell, 62, handed away on April 7 on the College of Pennsylvania hospital, based on their obituaries supplied on-line by the Leibensperger Funeral Houses.
Born on Sept. 18, 1961, Lori and George had partially fused skulls. The 2 shared very important blood vessels and 30% of their brains, Guinness World Information said.
