Tanev a inscrit la saison dernière 2 buts et 17 aides en 75 matchs, une manufacturing somme toute modeste, mais son apport se calcule beaucoup plus en prouesses défensives et en management. Deux qualités qui ne peuvent que servir la trigger des Leafs.
