Mumbai-based journey and way of life influencer Aanvi Kamdar died after falling right into a 300 ft. gorge whereas recording a video close to the Kumbhe waterfall in Mangaon in Maharashtra’s Raigad district. 

In keeping with the police, the incident occurred on 16 July round 10 a.m., when she was on a visit together with her seven buddies to the waterfall. She slipped into the valley whereas filming the environment and taking pictures. When her buddies knowledgeable the native authorities, the Mangaon cops and rescue forces reached the placement. 

Raigad Superintendent of Police Somnath Gharge stated, “She handed away in the course of the remedy. She was alive after the autumn into the gorge. The 27-year-old was dropped at Mangaon Taluka authorities hospital. The Kolad rescue workforce, the Coast Guard and Maharashtra State Electrical energy Board workers took six hours to tug up Ms. Kamdar because the heavy rainfall and the stones dashing down posed challenges in rescue operations.

Ms. Kamdar as an influencer, goes by the title Theglocaljournal, with over two lakh followers on Instagram. As per her Instagram bio, she was a Chartered Accountant by occupation, and later turned a journey influencer, making content material on luxurious finds, cafes, itineraries, ideas, and vibes. Her reels and posts include journey budgets and tourism, particularly of areas in India.
