Governor Newsom proclaims Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day 2024

SACRAMENTO – Governor Gavin Newsom at present issued a proclamation declaring December 7, 2024, as Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.

PROCLAMATION

On today 83 years in the past, Imperial Japan launched an unprovoked assault on america Naval Base at Pearl Harbor, killing greater than 2,400 American service members and civilians and destroying a lot of our nation’s Pacific Fleet. NOW THEREFORE I, GAVIN NEWSOM, Governor of the State of California, do hereby proclaim December 7, 2024, as Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
