Lotto Max winner: $80 million jackpot to be split

There are two winners of the $80 million Lotto Max jackpot, Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) has introduced. The prize will likely be cut up between the holders of two tickets offered in Quebec and Alberta.

Pulled within the Tuesday-night draw, this jackpot is the second time in Canada’s historical past that the highest prize hit a complete of $80 million.

Along with the jackpot, successful tickets for one-million-dollar prizes have been offered in Brampton, Hamilton and Timmins, Ont., with one other million received on-line and yet one more cut up between three successful tickets of $333,333.40 every in Hamilton, Toronto and Bowmanville, Ont.

The Lotto Max “Second Prize” ticket, price simply shy of $225,000, was offered in Unionville, Ont., a launch from the lottery company reads, and a $100,000 “Encore” prize is entitled to the holder of a ticket offered within the Kawartha Lakes space.

With this week’s winnings, OLG says it has tallied $8.8 billion in prizes since 2009.

This Friday’s draw is claimed to hold a jackpot of $33 million.
