Over her 60-year profession, Pinal appeared in films with Mexican comics like Cantinflas and Tin Tan, heartthrobs like Pedro Infante, and starred in Luis Buñuel’s 1961 movie “Viridiana.” Pinal went on to look in two different Buñuel movies, “The Exterminating Angel” in 1962, and “Simon of the Desert” in 1965.
She was one of many few Golden Age actresses who additionally tailored to a subsequent profession in tv, after the standard of Mexican movie started really fizzling out within the Nineteen Sixties. She additionally labored as a producer, and served in Congress.

She is survived by her ex-husband, Enrique Guzmán, and her daughters, actress Sylvia Pasquel and rock singer Alejandra Guzmán.
