VIDEO: Tornado in Fort Myers causes damage ahead of Milton landfall in Florida

As if historic storm surge and hurricane-force winds weren’t sufficient, residents of Fort Myers needed to cope with much more loopy climate from Milton as a twister plowed by a neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon.

A number of witnesses noticed the twister transferring by Fort Myers throughout Hurricane Milton’s preliminary bands.

FOX Climate’s Brandy Campbell stated she discovered some potential twister injury on Daniels Parkway.

“The entrance door blew inside the home. So all of that breeze and that water was coming inside,” stated a storm sufferer.

His road and plenty of others had been lined with massive, snapped bushes and particles that wasn’t there earlier than the twister.

The tornado seen in Fort Myers was simply one of many many seen throughout Wednesday’s twister outbreak spawned by Hurricane Milton.

A minimum of a dozen tornadoes had been reported in Central and South Florida forward of the hurricane’s landfall.
